Eladora
London, 2022 — Archive Origin

Foundation Notes.

Eladora began as a private documentation project. An attempt to record, with precision, what was known about the supplement formulations in regular use — and what was not known, or not disclosed by manufacturers.

01 — Origin

A Private Record Made Public

London, 2022. A nutrition professional working across strength and recovery contexts began keeping a structured file: formulations reviewed, ingredients mapped, sourcing questions raised and either answered or left open.

Over the first year, that file grew to cover nearly eighty formulations across five categories. By the time it was restructured into what is now the Eladora catalogue, a clear editorial position had formed: documentation is more useful than advocacy.

The catalogue does not recommend. It describes. The composition, the source, the verification record, and the context of use. Readers draw their own conclusions from the assembled evidence.

What the Archive Stands For

Transparency First

Every catalogue entry discloses its ingredient source, processing method, and analytical verification reference. There are no proprietary blends without disclosure in the Eladora archive.

Evidence-Based Editorial

Ingredient profiles are selected based on published nutritional research. No ingredient enters the catalogue without an associated peer-reviewed reference supporting its documented role.

Verified at Batch Level

Declarations are confirmed by independent analysis. Each batch carries a certificate of composition. The catalogue entry is finalised only once this documentation is on file.

UK-Anchored Sourcing

Where alternatives are comparable in quality, UK-based or EU-adjacent suppliers are preferred. Proximity reduces chain-of-custody complexity and supports traceability.

Built for Active Men

The catalogue is scoped to men's daily nutrition — covering energy metabolism, strength and recovery support, and healthy ageing across varied activity patterns.

Open Reference Format

The archive is structured to be consulted, not consumed. Entries are designed as reference points — not promotional materials. Readers are expected to engage critically.

Development Record

2022

Internal Documentation Begins

The private reference file is started. Initial focus: adaptogen formulations and mineral complexes used in active recovery contexts. Forty-two entries completed by end of year.

2023 Q1

Supplier Review Protocol Established

A structured supplier assessment checklist is introduced. Chain-of-custody documentation becomes a prerequisite for catalogue entry. Twelve existing entries are retrospectively updated.

2023 Q3

Independent Batch Verification Introduced

Partnership established with an independent analytical laboratory. All new entries from this point require a certificate of composition before publication.

2024

Public Catalogue Launch

The Eladora archive is restructured and made publicly accessible. One hundred and six entries at launch across six categories. London office opens at Portobello Road.
